The Triflex Sportive Event offered the chance for keen road cyclists to undertake a 40 mile route, or a more challenging 80 mile route. With views across the Staffordshire countryside and elevations right up into the Peak district it was certainly a challenge! Held on one of the hottest days of the year, the riders were well looked after by the event partner, Adventure Café. The first-class support was provided by their outstanding athletes, who encouraged and inspired all riders to challenge themselves and finish with big smiles all round.

“It was a great way for all riders to enjoy our lovely local countryside,” said Tony Mills, Triflex Sales Director, “everyone really enjoyed the day and it was great to show off Staffordshire and the surrounding areas to riders from across the UK. With our UK headquarters based in Stone, we are always looking for ways to support local business too, and Slaters Country Inn made all our guests very welcome.”

The event also raised funds for Cancer Research through donations by friends, colleagues and supporters.
